Manage operations of the organization under the guidance of the Board Directors and following the policies, strategies, and established procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Board.
● Maintain financial records
● Deposit checks, pay bills
● Process contractor invoices
● Meet weekly with Board chair
● Create meeting Zoom links as needed
● Send meeting announcements to Board
● Work with Board Chair to develop Board meeting agendas
● Work with Treasurer on financial reporting to the board, quarterly
● Prepare bi-monthly report to the Board
● Maintain Google Docs files
● Assist Nominations Committee as needed
● Send ballots to membership
● Maintain Wild Apricot membership and donation database
● Answer member inquiries via email and phone
● Work with Membership and Development Committee to gather data for grants and other fund-raising activities, as needed
● Assist with planning of annual member meeting, time permitting
● Work with Communications Committee to create and distribute monthly newsletter (editor of monthly newsletter)
● Work with Program Committee to create and distribute program announcements and other notices
● Maintain Contact lists in Wild Apricot
● Manage Wild Apricot website - updating and adding materials as directed by Board
● Manage FB page - Monitoring membership and posts, and encouraging site use (e.g., through weekly topics for discussion) FB page administrator
● Schedule programs (using Zoom & Wild Apricot)
● Manage registrations in Wild Apricot
● Attend programs
● Coordinate with Board members to create and distribute surveys and communications around programming
● Attend IMLS quarterly meetings, IMLS national survey planning and other national projects, as needed
● Attend national advocacy meetings, including Museum Advocacy Day, as needed
